The Augusta Civic Center is the largest venue yet for the Maine Farmers’ Market Convention! We will occupy the entire second floor. The Maine Agricultural Trades Show will be taking place downstairs. (Wednesday the 10th will be the biggest day of the Trades Show.) Entrance to the Trades Show is free; entrance to the Maine Farmers’ Market Convention requires advance registration, with fees ranging from $30-$48.
How to get to the Civic Center:
Take exit 112 off Interstate 95 onto ME-11 S/Civic Center Drive. There is a large marquis sign at the first intersection indicating the Civic Center Driveway.
For attendees flying in, Augusta is located between the Bangor International Airport and the Portland Jetport. Both have car rental facilities on site.
There are a number of hotels in the area. We recommend that visitors plan to come on Tuesday or Wednesday in order to take in the Agricultural Trades Show Wednesday, then get an early start for a full day of farmers’ market convening on Thursday the 11th. For reservations at the hotels nearest the venue, it is wise to plan ahead, as they will fill up fast.
